I just wanted to share a quick tool I made called PixelPaletteSwap a simple browser based application where you can palette swap pixel art assets.
The idea is really simple: you import an image or a series of images (in case it’s an animation—GIFs also work). Then you click on a pixel and swap it with another one, and all matching pixels in the entire animation will be replaced.
You can also upload another image and use its palette as a preset to copy from. You can select areas using a rectangle or polygon selection tool, and even export all the pixel-swap settings to reuse them for another angle of the animation.
It’s completely free and runs locally in your browser. It’s just a tool I needed, so I thought I’d share it in case someone else needs it as well.
